Badgers add two more wins, Roundup to conclude on Saturday

ORLANDO – The Spring Hill women's tennis team picked up two SIAC Roundup victories on Friday, defeating Benedict 6-1 before following up with a 5-2 victory over Albany State. The Badgers have now won all four matches against conference opponents this spring and improve to 5-2 on the season with the win.
 
Match Details:
Spring Hill swept the doubles point in the first match of the day and then rattled off five straight wins to begin singles action. Italia Jones stood out individually, picking up a 6-0, 6-0 win on Court 4.  
 
The nightcap featured only singles play due to Albany State only having five players, and Brooke Powers, Romina Kroemer and Jones earned wins on Courts 3, 5 and 4 respectively to pick up the clinch and keep the Badgers undefeated for the event. Powers and Kroemer both won their matches without dropping a single set.
