CLINTON, Miss. – The Spring Hill men's tennis team was tripped up on Tuesday, falling 7-0 on the road against Mississippi College. The loss drops the Badgers to 1-2 on the young season, while the Choctaws improve to 2-0.

The Choctaws took the doubles point with wins in the third and second flights respectively, taking the early 1-0 lead. In singles play,
Luke Bedwell fell 6-3, 6-2, followed by Filipe Grebenstov's 6-2, 6-4 loss on Court 2.
MC officially earned the win with a 6-3, 6-4 victory over
Tom Ruel in the third singles flight and kept the momentum going with wins on Courts 5 and 6.
Tom Gutermann was the last Badger of the day left standing, battling to three sets before eventually dropping the top flight 6-3, 4-6, 7-5.
