MOBILE, Ala. –
Rocco Lamuno posted 28 points, 11 assists, and 10 rebounds as the Spring Hill College men's basketball team led coast to coast in a 106-86 victory over the Albany State University Golden Rams Saturday evening in Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference action.
The Badgers improved to 4-20 on the season and 9-12 in the SIAC, while Albany State fell to 10-15 overall and 9-12 in the SIAC.

Spring Hill opened up a 16-7 advantage following a three-pointer from Lamuno with 14:41 in the half. The Golden Rams got within one point at 16-15 with 12:07 on the clock, but
Amaan Sanni quickly responded with a three-pointer, and the lead ballooned to as much as 14 points on two occasions.
Free throws from
Nikoloz Abuladze helped Spring Hill take a 14-point, 51-37 lead at the half.
Albany State went on a 19-10 run to pull within five points at 61-56 with 14:22 left in the game, but Spring Hill rebounded to take a 19-point, 89-70, lead with a layup from
Alvin Cole at the 6:29 mark.
Ruben Bos splashed a three-pointer with 58 seconds remaining, giving the Badgers their largest lead of the night at 106-84 before a Golden Ram layup with 47 seconds to reach the 20-point, 106-86 final score.
Notes and Numbers:
Alvin Cole finished with 25 points, nine rebounds, and three assists for his third 20-point game of the season.
Amaan Sanni reached 22 points as the sophomore guard posted his 10th double-digit scoring performance and third 20-point game on the season.
The Badgers finished 57.1 percent (36-of-63), 55.6 percent (15-of-27) from three, and 86.4 percent (19-of-22) at the free throw line.
SHC tied the season high for threes in a game, matching the output from just the last game against Tuskegee on Wednesday.
