ALBANY, Ga. – The Spring Hill College volleyball team opened Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference play 2-0 for the 11
th year in a row Thursday. SHC swept both Savannah State and Clark Atlanta at the Jones Brothers HPER Complex.

The Badgers (5-5, 2-0 SIAC) opened the SIAC Crossover with a 3-0 (25-13, 25-16, 25-17) sweep of the Tigers (4-3, 0-1 SIAC).
Monica Vargo led the match with 30 assists and
Ashlyn Whiteside led defensively with 16 digs.

Spring Hill then swept the Panthers (1-8, 1-1 SIAC) in straight sets (25-9, 25-5, 25-11). Whiteside led the contest with 17 digs while Vargo led with 16 assists.
