Badgers Fall 2-1 to MC

CLINTON, Miss. – The Spring Hill College men's soccer team fell 2-1 in Friday's Gulf South Conference opener to Mississippi College.
 
The Choctaws (2-1-2, 1-0-0 GSC) opened scoring in the 3^rd minute and extended their lead in the 40^th. Alessandro Merlo got the Badgers (0-3, 0-1 GSC) on the board in the 83^rd minute.

- Freshman midfielder Bryce Barrere tallied his first career assist.
- Izan Quesada Leal took three shots and placed two on target.
- Redshirt Junior goalkeeper Isa Murati kept a clean sheet for SHC after entering in the second half.
