MOBILE, Ala. – Nick Hunter earned a spot on the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District Baseball Team, it was announced Tuesday.
 
Hunter earned his first career academic all-district nod after posting a 3.76 GPA while completing his sports management degree.
 
The designated hitter out of Herrin, Ill., hit .284 with seven doubles and 41 RBIs this season. He made 48 starts in 49 appearances and held a .325 slugging percentage while getting on base 43 percent of the time.
