MACON, Ga. – The Spring Hill College baseball team fell 4-3 in the 2025 Cricket SIAC Baseball Championship elimination game to Savannah State at Luther Williams Field on Sunday.

Brevin Smith (W: 6-0); Korey Bunselmeyer (L: 9-5)
Jackson Bell led the Badgers (39-14) at the plate with two hits in five at-bats. Seth Wiliams led with two RBIs.
The Tigers (32-14) stormed ahead to a 3-0 lead through the fifth inning.
AJ Swader broke up the scoring run and put Spring Hill on the board with a home run in the sixth.
Williams hit a two-run single up the middle to tie the game at 3-3 in the eighth. A home run in the ninth inning gave Savannah State the edge it needed to defeat SHC, 4-3.
Korey Bunselmeyer suffered the loss while striking out five, walking two and giving up one earned run.
Isaac Crabb came in relief and threw 2.0 scoreless innings with two strikeouts.
Kai St. Germaine closed the game and tallied a strikeout with one hit and one run.
AJ Swader and
Miles Justin both earned all-tournament honors for their postseason performances.
