Badgers Sweep First Day of SIAC Round-Up

ROME, Ga. - The Spring Hill College women's tennis team swept Savannah State and Edward Waters during the first day of the SIAC Round-Up at the Rome Tennis Center on Wednesday.
 
The Badgers (2-2) started with a 7-0 sweep of Savannah State (0-2). Spring Hill took all three matches in doubles play with dominating victories.
 
SHC kept the momentum going into singles play, where they again swept all courts with commanding wins.
 
Against Edward Waters (0-7), the Badgers kept their stride going. The duo of Emma Pager and Romina Kroemer clinched the doubles point on court two, 6-0.
 
Only three singles matches were completed due to weather, but Spring Hill won every one.
