TUSKEGEE, Ala.- The Spring Hill College Softball team was defeated by Tuskegee in their final game of the weekend series at the TU Softball Field Sunday, 4-3.

A strong third inning lifted the Golden Tigers (17-4, 12-1 SIAC) over the Badgers (14-13, 10-3 SIAC) in the series finale.
In the second, Amanda Glowacki and Destiny Pierce each drove in a run to give Spring Hill the lead. Tuskegee took the lead the following inning with four runs. Rycca Hinton got the Badgers within one with an RBI single in the fourth.
Hinton led the team going 3-for-4 with an RBI and a stolen base while Jessyln Gordon also had a strong performance, going 2-for-3.
Emma Curry (6-4) pitched 2.1 innings and issued one walk. Leighanna Turk came in relief and stuck out two in 3.2 innings of work.
