MOBILE, Ala. – The Spring Hill College baseball team clinched the SIAC series against Kentucky State after sweeping Saturday's doubleheader at Sims-Galle Field.

The Badgers (20-9, 14-2 SIAC) dominated with a 13-0 run-rule shutout of the Thorobreds (2-23, 0-17 SIAC).
Korey Bunselmeyer led the Badgers on the mound with six strikeouts, one walk and a single hit in 7.0 innings.

SHC's scoring was highlighted by
Jackson Bell's grand slam in the second. He hit a homer for the second game in a row.

After starting off the game trailing 1-0 through the top of the second, the Badgers started a 9-0 scoring run that was highlighted by
Seth Williams' team-leading seventh home run of the season.

Kentucky State put up another run in the fifth. SHC scored four more runs for insurance to make it a 13-2 game in the fifth.

KSU's rally in the seventh fell short, with Spring Hill clinching the series and completing the doubleheader sweep.
