MEMPHIS, Tenn. – The Spring Hill College women's basketball team's late comeback against LeMoyne-Owen fell short in Wednesday's regular-season finale. Spring Hill fell 69-66 at the Bruce Hall/Johnson Gymansium.

Kellyn Hunter led the Badgers (7-19, 6-13 SIAC) with 21 points, shooting 7-of-15 from the field and 7-of-9 from the free-throw line, while also pulling down six rebounds.
Ariel Thompson provided a spark off the bench with 12 points on an efficient 5-of-8 shooting.
Jalisha Mann added nine points and four assists.

The game remained tight throughout, featuring five ties and five lead changes. Spring Hill dominated inside with 36 points in the paint but were edged out in second-chance points (12-9) and points off turnovers (11-5).

SHC made a late push in the fourth quarter, shooting 60 percent from the field, but LeMoyne-Owen (7-20, 4-15 SIAC) held on, led by Kennedy Fuller's 22-point performance.
