ATLANTA – The Spring Hill College women's basketball team fell on the road 81-47 to Clark Atlanta in Saturday's SIAC matchup at L.S. Epps Gymnasium.

The Badgers (4-3, 2-2 SIAC) fell behind early as the Panthers (3-6, 3-3 SIAC) peeled ahead 51-25 by halftime. Spring Hill was unable to cut into the margin in the second half as CAU continued to control the boards and convert in transition.

How It Happened
SHC opened with a 3-pointer from
Nicole Blanch in the first possession of the game, but Clark Atlanta answered with a balanced attack and pulled away. By the break the Panthers built a 26-point cushion and the Badgers never recovered. Spring hill's offense struggled to find flow, shooting just 30.4 percent and only six made threes. Clark Atlanta wrangled in 40 rebounds and generated 17 points off turnovers and handed the Badgers the 81-47 loss.
