MOBILE, Ala. – Spring Hill College setter Monica Vargo earned an American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) All-American honorable mention on Wednesday.
 
In her first year with the Badgers, Vargo was named the SIAC Setter of the Year. She also earned a spot on the All-SIAC first team and recieved an AVCA All-South Region honorable mention.
 
Vargo kept the momentum going by earning a SIAC tournament MVP and all-tournament nod. She became the sixth setter in program history to nab an AVCA All-Region honor.
 
The Fogelsville, Pa., native made noise in her SIAC debut this season to the tune of 990 total assists and 9.90 per set, which led the conference.
