MOBILE, Ala. – The Spring Hill College men's basketball team earned its first victory of the season, defeating Edward Waters 75-71 Thursday night at the Arthur R. Outlaw Recreation Center.

After trailing early, the Badgers (1-7, 1-3 SIAC) rallied behind timely scoring and a strong second half to secure the win. Spring Hill outscored the Tigers (6-3, 4-1 SIAC) 45-34 after halftime and held off a late rally to seal the four-point win.

Rocco Lamuno led the game with 21 points while tallying seven rebounds, four steals and two assists. He also marked a career-high 10 free throws.
