MOBILE, Ala. – The Spring Hill College women's basketball team fell 64-49 to Lane in the SIAC opener at the Arthur R. Outlaw Recreation Center on Tuesday.

The Badgers (2-2, 0-1 SIAC) led the Dragons (4-0, 3-0 SIAC) through the first quarter with help from 53 percent shooting. Spring Hill maintained a close 29-28 lead going into the halftime break. Lane outscored SHC in the final two quarters, 36-20, and held on to win 64-49.
