FRANKFORT, Ky. – The Spring Hill College women's basketball team defeated Kentucky State 69-53 in Saturday's SIAC matchup at the William Exum HPER Center.

The Badgers (3-2, 1-1 SIAC) trailed 17-14 after a slow first quarter, but quickly flipped the script in the second, outscoring the Thorobreds (2-4, 2-3 SIAC) 25-18. Spring Hill maintained its momentum throughout the second half to secure the 69-53 conference victory.

Jenice Adjessom led the way with 17 points, going 5-of-9 from the floor and a perfect 4-of-4 from the free throw line. She also pulled down seven rebounds and dished out four assists.

Madison Dowling added 16 points while shooting 8-of-12 and collecting five rebounds.

Libby Geisler totaled 11 points and a perfect (4-4) night at the charity stripe.
- SHC shot a season-high 54.3 percent from the field, 40 percent from three and 84.6 percent from the free throw line.
- The Badgers were unselfish, dishing out a season-high 12 assists.
