SHC Clinches Spot in GSC Championship

MOBILE, Ala. – Following the Spring Hill College women's soccer team's 1-0 win over UAH in its regular season finale at Library Field on Sunday, the Badgers clinched the No. 6 seed in the Gulf South Conference Women's Soccer Championship.
 
SHC (7-3-7, 5-3-4 GSC) clinched a spot in the GSC tournament for the second year in a row. They also finished with the best record in the program's Division II era.
 
Ellie King scored the lone goal of the match in the 43rd minute off of a rebound that came off of the Charger's goalkeeper. Alexa Pratt was credited with the assist, marking her second of the season.
 
Alabama Huntsville fell to 6-8-2 on the season and 4-7-1 in conference play.
