MOBILE, Ala. – The Spring Hill College volleyball team swept both Kentucky State and LeMoyne-Owen on the first day of the SIAC West Division Cluster on Friday.

The Badgers (18-5, 14-0 SIAC) started with a clean sweep of the Thorobreds (4-19, 3-9 SIAC).
Jaylyne Bell led the match with nine kills and three blocks.
Monica Vargo paced the contest with 25 assists.
Ashlyn Whiteside led the game defensively with 14 digs.

Spring Hill blanked the Magicians (3-17, 0-12 SIAC) while holding them to a -.088 hitting percentage.
Colleen Engstler led the contest with nine kills.

Whiteside led with seven aces and 10 digs.
Emily Cook guided the offense with a season-high 25 assists.
