BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – Spring Hill College's Alexa Pratt was named the Gulf South Conference Defensive Player of the Week on Tuesday.
 
Pratt earned the first GSC weekly honor of her career after a strong weekend on the road with the Badgers. She scored the game-winning goal in SHC's 1-0 win over Auburn Montgomery.

She also helped Spring Hill to a pair of clean sheets over the weekend, going the distance in both shutout victories against Valdosta state and AUM.

Spring Hill returns home and will host Christian Brothers during Homecoming on The Hill on Friday. Kickoff is scheduled for 1 p.m. (CT) at Library Field.
