MOBILE, Ala. – Mikayla Boyer and
Lily Mascari earned spots on the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Team, CSC announced Tuesday.

The Academic All-District program recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the court and in the classroom. In order to earn a spot on the All-District Team, student-athletes must be a starter and maintain at least a 3.50 GPA.

Boyer earned the second academic all-district honor of her career. The graduate student out of Covington, La., led the team with an 18-7 record on the No. 1 court this season. She held a 3.71 GPA while completing her MBA.

Mascari was named to the all-district team for the first time in her career. The redshirt junior, who hails from Collierville, Tenn., posted a 14-17 record which included a perfect 3-0 mark on the No. 5 court. She owned a 3.72 GPA while pursuing her elementary education degree.

This is the second-straight year that the beach volleyball program has been represented on the Academic All-District Team.
