MOBILE, Ala. – The Spring Hill College men's tennis team fell 7-0 to nationally-ranked NAIA powerhouse (#15) Mobile at the Gerald L. Wallace Tennis Center on Tuesday.
Spring Hill (16-6, 12-0 SIAC) battled in doubles and narrowly took the game on court No. 3 (7-5) where Philip Bosman and Matthew Pirie played. Tom Gutermann (6-4, 1-6, 0-1 (8-10)) fought hard to win his set but came up short. The Badgers were swept by Mobile (16-2, 5-2 SSAC), who sits at No. 15 in the ITA NAIA rankings, in doubles and singles action.
