Badgers swept by Alabama State

MONTGOMERY, Ala. – The Spring Hill College men's tennis team fell 7-0 to Alabama State at the Olean Black Underwood Tennis Center on Saturday.
 
Paul-Phillip Kern and Tom Gutermann played a hard-fought doubles set, ultimately dropping it 7-5. Alabama State (12-3, 6-0 SWAC) went on to sweep the doubles point.

It was much of the same in singles, with SHC (16-7, 12-0 SIAC) dropping all singles points, Gutermann once again battled hard but fell short in the tiebreaker 4-6, 6-0, 0-1 (7-10).
