LEXINGTON, Ky. – Nicholas Couchard took third place individually and the Spring Hill College men's golf team finished fourth at the 2024 Cricket SIAC Men's Golf Championship at Kearney Hill Golf Links on Wednesday.
 
Couchard (75-73-77—225) finished the tournament in third place out of 31 SIAC golfers. He matched his career-low tournament score of 225 while standing as one of five to card an eagle during the event. Luke Barnes (84-75-78—237) and Chris Brignet (83-87-73—243) also recorded an eagle apiece on the course.
 
Spring Hill (322-326-298—946) finished three spots behind the winner, Miles (315-311-300—926), after three rounds of play on the par-72, 7,100-yard course. The Badgers had the third-best par-3 (3.69) and par-4 (4.44) scoring averages at the tournament.
 
Kevin Tobertge (82-77-73—232) placed seventh overall in his second career top-10 finish. Barnes, who competed individually, landed in 11^th place in the field. Maarten Wellen (79-80-82—241) tied for 15^th individually. Brignet and Hudson Carr (84-82-77—243) tied for 17^th.
