MOBILE, Ala. – The Spring Hill College softball team finished the regular season as undefeated champions of the SIAC West Division after completing the series sweep against Lane with an 8-0 run-rule victory.
Macy Holt broke the single-season stolen base record during the game at Murray Field on Sunday.

Holt stole a pair of bags and broke a 10-year-old record with 40 stolen bases on the year. Jenna Charnock previously set the record with 39 in 2014.

Rycca Hinton led the Badgers (23-18, 22-0 SIAC) at the plate with four RBI and two doubles while going 3-for-4 and crossed the plate once.
Meadow Villar and
Oscha Carter both contributed at the plate and went 2-for-3 with two runs scored apiece. Villar also hit a double and recorded an RBI in the shutout victory over the Dragons (29-12, 14-8 SIAC)

Emma Curry (10-4) pitched the entire game and allowed only a single hit while striking out four batters over 6.0 innings.

- B1 | Amanda Glowacki grounded out to score Carter. Hinton doubled to center field to score Villar, Spring Hill 2-0.
- B5 | Bailey Cox singled through the right side and allowed Carter to round third and score on the throw. Hinton doubled to left center to score Lindsey Mecom and Cox. Jena Pacheco reached on a fielder's choice while Hinton crossed the plate, Spring Hill 6-0.
- B6 | Villar singled to center field to score Cox. Hinton tripled to right field to score Villar, Spring Hill 8-0.
