PEACHTREE CITY, Ga. – The Spring Hill College men's tennis team captured its second-straight SIAC Tournament title after sweeping #3 Benedict, 4-0, at the Peachtree City Tennis Center on Sunday.

Spring Hill (18-8, 12-0 SIAC) swept the Tigers (13-7, 9-3 SIAC) and won its second-consecutive SIAC Men's Tennis Tournament Championship in its third-straight tournament final appearance.

Paul-Phillip Kern and
Tom Gutermann started the match with a 6-4 win on the No. 1 court.
Charles Wallace and
Hugo Blasco Granell followed by clinching the doubles point with a 6-2 win in the No. 2 spot.

Blasco Granell kept the momentum going with a clean 6-0, 6-0 sweep on court No. 6 to start singles. SIAC Freshman of the Year
Noah Eberhard defeated his opponent 6-2, 6-2 on the No. 5 court. Gutermann clinched the match point and the Badgers' second championship in a row after defeating his opponent 6-0, 6-4 in the No. 2 spot.

Following the win SIAC Player of the Year
Philip Bosman was recognized as the tournament MVP. Wallace, Blasco Granell and Gutermann were all named to the All-Tournament Singles and Doubles Teams. Kern received an all-tournament singles nod.
