ATLANTA – Spring Hill College women's tennis newcomer Brooke Powers earned the SIAC Freshman of the Year award, an all-conference singles nod and a spot on the All-Conference Doubles Team alongside duo partner Claire Bosman.

Powers earned the first individual conference award in program history. She is also the fourth student-athlete in team history named to both the all-conference singles and doubles teams.

In her collegiate debut season, she went 14-1 in conference singles play and 20-4 overall on the No. 2 and 3 courts.

The duo of Powers and Bosman held a 13-2 record in SIAC play and went 17-8 overall in the No. 1 spot. The pair took home the first doubles all-conference selection since Jamie Martin and Mary Grace Sullivan in 2019.
