NEW ORLEANS – The Spring Hill College baseball team was run-ruled by Loyola (La.), 12-2, in seven innings at Segnette Field on Wednesday.

Toran Smith paced the Badgers (25-18, 20-7 SIAC) at the plate, going 1-for-3 with a solo home run.
Jack Taylor also led with an RBI of his own while going 1-for-3.
Seth Williams tallied a hit and extended his reached base streak to 33 games.

Anthony Aleman (0-1) was handed the loss after coming in relief and giving up two runs on three walks with a strikeout in 1.1 innings.
Cooper Symmons got the start and did not give up any runs on seven hits across 4.0 innings.
