FRANKFORT, Ky. – The Spring Hill College softball team completed its fourth-straight SIAC series sweep with a 5-2 win against Kentucky State at State Stadium on Sunday.

Bailey Cox and
Amanda Glowacki each led SHC (20-15, 19-0 SIAC) with two RBI apiece. Cox went 1-for-4 at the plate with two runs scored while Glowacki went 2-for-3.
Meadow Villar extended her reached base streak to 21 games and her hitting streak to 16 games while going 2-for-3 at the plate with one RBI.
Emily Phillips contributed at the plate with a perfect 3-for-3 day.

Leighanna Turk (7-7) earned the win in the circle and scattered two runs on five hits, one walk and four strikeouts over 4.0 innings.
Emma Curry tossed 3.0 hitless relief innings and sat two batters down.

- T1 | Glowacki doubled to score Rycca Hinton and Cox scored on an error, Spring Hill 2-0.
- B1 | The Thorobreds singled to left field to score two runs and tie the game, 2-2.
- T6 | Cox singled to center field to score Phillips and Kayla-Coley Drayton. Villar was hit by a pitch with the bases loaded, bringing Cox across the plate, Spring Hill 5-2.
