TAVARES, Fla. – The Spring Hill College beach volleyball team was swept 3-0 by top-seeded Tampa before it swept Catawba, 3-0, during the AVCA Small College Beach Championships at Hickory Point Beach on Saturday.
 
Spring Hill (16-16) was swept 3-0 by the No. 1 seed of the tournament, Tampa (22-9), in its final match of pool play. The Sandy Badgers moved on to the challenge round following the loss to face Catawba College (9-19).
 
SHC completed a clean sweep (3-0) of the Indians in its challenge round match. All three courts saw its games decided in two sets.
