NEW ORLEANS – Chris Brignet tied for fourth and Kevin Tobergte tied for eighth while the Spring Hill College men's golf team placed third in the Wolf Pack Spring Invitational at English Turn Golf & Country Club on Tuesday.
 
Spring Hill (304-301-299—904) finished two spots behind the winner and host, Loyola (La.) (295-292-297—884). SHC led in par-3 scoring with an 11-over average of 3.18 and recorded the third-most birdies.
 
Brignet (73-71-75) led the Badgers while tying for fourth and carding a career-low 3-over-par tournament score of 219. He tallied 10 birdies through three rounds, the second-most at the event.
 
Tobergte tied for eighth with a career-low 7-over-par 223 (74-78-71) that was highlighted by his career-low 71 during round three. Tobergte also recorded a par-5 eagle on hole 11 during the final round of play.
 
Hudson Carr (76-79-76—231) finished in a tie for 19^th, followed by Luc Weyell (81-75-79—235) and Maarten Wellen (84-77-77—238), who tied for 26^th and 34, respectively. Wellen marked career-low round (77) and tournament (238) scores.
