LEXINGTON, Ky. – Spring Hill College volleyball outside hitter
Airyonna Weaver earned an All-South Region Honorable Mention from the American Volleyball Coaches Association.

Weaver earned her first career All-South Region Honorable Mention after leading Spring Hill to its sixth-straight Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Championship. The Mobile, Ala., native was named the SIAC Player of the Year and Tournament MVP while earning spots on both the All-Conference First Team and All-Tournament Team.

The senior passed the 1,000-career kill mark this season and led the Badgers with 283 on the year. She was a dominant force on defense as well, recording 270 digs. In addition, Weaver tallied 32 service aces and 60 total blocks.
SHC is set to make its sixth-straight NCAA Tournament appearance against Lynn on Friday at 7 p.m. (ET) in Boca Raton, Fla.
