MOBILE, Ala. – The Spring Hill College women's basketball team (5-6, 4-1 SIAC) defeated Savannah State (6-5, 2-3 SIAC), 77-60, at the Arthur R. Outlaw Recreation Center on Thursday.

The Badgers shot a season-high 50 percent from the floor, hitting 29 shots. They also shot 40 percent from beyond the arc while holding the Tigers to 14 percent 3-point shooting.

Spring Hill won the battle in the paint, outscoring Savannah State, 44-38. SHC also scored eight 2
nd-chance points to SSU's two.

For the third-straight game, four Badgers ended the game with double-digit figures in scoring.
Kellyn Hunter led all scorers with 24 points while dishing out three assists.
Marta Duda had a season-high 19 points, six free throws and two blocks.

Claudia Garrido earned her first career double-double with 10 points and 10 rebounds.
Jalisha Mann hit double-digits for the second game in a row for the first time in her career with 10 points.
