Badgers Fall to Edward Waters

MOBILE, Ala. – The Spring Hill College women's basketball team (5-7, 4-2 SIAC) fell 55-43 to Edward Waters (7-3, 4-2 SIAC) in its final game of the calendar year at the Arthur R. Outlaw Recreation Center on Saturday.
 
Spring Hill shot 30 percent from the floor while being held back by 64 percent shooting at the free throw line. Edward Waters went 35 percent from the floor, 83 percent from the charity stripe and 25 percent from distance.
 
Kellyn Hunter led the game in scoring with 15 points and matched two teammates, Marta Duda and Tiana Smith, with a team-leading six rebounds.
