Badgers Defeat Benedict

MOBILE, Ala. – The Spring Hill College women's basketball team (4-6, 3-1 SIAC) defeated Benedict (2-5, 1-3 SIAC), 68-62, at HRC Arena on Monday.
 
Marta Duda led the game with her second double-double of the season. Her performance was highlighted by 18 points and 11 rebounds.
 
Three other Badgers, Claudia Garrido (15), Kellyn Hunter (11) and Jalisha Mann (10) recorded double-digit figures in scoring. Garrido hit four 3-pointers, matching her season high.
 
The Badgers shot a season-high 48 percent from beyond the arc. Spring Hill also won the rebound battle with a season-high 46 rebounds to Benedict's 39.
