COLUMBIA, S.C. – The Spring Hill College men's basketball team (4-5, 2-2 SIAC) narrowly lost to Benedict (2-7, 2-3 SIAC), 77-75, at HRC Arena on Monday.

Walter Peggs Jr. led the game in scoring with 26 points highlighted by six 3-pointers.
Steven Lyles also had a 20-plus point performance with 24 and a perfect (6-6) night at the free throw line.
Timothy Reilly led the night with eight rebounds.

The Badgers shot a season-high 59 percent from beyond the arc. The Tigers shot 48 percent from the floor to SHC's 42 percent.
