LEXINGTON, Ky. – The American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) announced on Wednesday that Spring Hill College outside hitter
Airyonna Weaver earned an All-America Honorable Mention.

Weaver earned her first career All-America Honorable Mention after receiving an All-South Region Honorable Mention. The Mobile, Ala., native was named the SIAC Player of the Year, Tournament MVP while earning spots on both the All-Conference First Team and All-Tournament Team. Her award-winning play led the Badgers to their sixth-straight SIAC Championship.

The senior passed the 1,000-career kill mark this season and led the Badgers with 289 on the year. She was a dominant force on defense as well, recording 281 digs. In addition, Weaver tallied 33 service aces and 61 total blocks.
