WINTER PARK, Fla. – Steven Lyles led the Spring Hill College men's basketball team (1-1) to an 89-86 victory against Florida Tech (0-2) at the Alfond Sports Center on Saturday.

Lyles had a career night with 35 points, 12 field goals and eight free throws. The Johns Creek, Ga. native also recorded seven rebounds, three assists, three steals and a block.
Timothy Reilly led the game with a season-high nine rebounds and contributed 19 points.
Walter Peggs Jr. has 18 points and was perfect (4-4) from the free throw line.

Spring Hill shot 42 percent from the floor and 87 percent from the charity stripe. The Badgers scored 40 points in the paint compared to Florida Tech's 30. Â
