MOBILE, Ala. – The Spring Hill College women's basketball team (0-3) dropped Thursday night's non-conference game, 79-66, to Mississippi College (4-1) at the Arthur R. Outlaw Recreation Center.

Kellyn Hunter led the game in scoring alongside Mississippi College's Tiara Abron and matched her season high with 20 points. Hunter is averaging 14.3 points through three games this season. Her unselfish play led to a game-leading seven assists.

Claudia Garrido and
Marta Duda both had double-digit scoring figures with 16 and 14 points, respectively. Duda was also perfect at the free throw line, going 3-for-3.
Tiana Smith crashed the glass and collected five rebounds to lead the Bagders.

The 66 points scored by Spring Hill marked a season high as well as the 23 field goals, 14 free throws and 11 steals. Four of those steals came from Garrido.

SHC shot a season-high 46 percent from the floor, 37 percent from beyond the arc and 73 percent from the charity stripe.
