Badgers Fall To Eckerd On The Road

TAMPA, Fla. – The Spring Hill College women's basketball team (0-2) fell in Saturday's 65-52 loss to Eckerd (3-1, 1-0 SSC) at the Bob Martinez Athletics Center.
 
Marta Duda led the Badgers in scoring with 14 points, half of which came in the second quarter. Madison Dowling contributed a season-high 11 points of her own and was 5-8 from the floor. Duda, Tiana Smith and Jalisha Mann each collected six rebounds apiece.
 
Spring Hill scored 30 points in the paint and generated 19 off the bench. Eckerd shot 44 percent from the floor, 50 percent from distance and 65 percent from the free throw line.
