HUNTSVILLE, Ala. – The Spring Hill College women's soccer team (6-7-3, 3-5-3 GSC) was led by
Poppy Binding's brace in Friday's 2-2 draw on the road against Alabama Huntsville (5-6-3, 4-3-3 GSC) at Charger Park.
Alabama Huntsville opened scoring in the 30
th minute and held the 1-0 lead going into the halftime break. Binding answered with a quick goal in the opening minute of the second half to level the score 1-1.
Binding followed that up with another goal, marking her second brace of the season, to give the Badgers a 2-1 lead in the 59
th minute. The Chargers were awarded a penalty kick in the 78
th minute, which they scored to tie the match 2-2.
