JACKSON, Tenn. – The Spring Hill College Volleyball team (16-7, 14-0 SIAC) swept both Kentucky State (5-10, 5-7 SIAC) and LeMoyne-Owen (2-17, 0-12 SIAC) during the first day of the SIAC West Division Cluster II at the JF Lane Gymnasium on Friday.

The Badgers dominated in both matches, starting off by not allowing more than 15 points in a single set from the Thorobreds. Spring Hill hit for .317 while holding Kentucky State to -.080, the lowest hitting percentage by an opponent this season.

Brooke Borgmeyer led the match with 10 kills and recorded an impressive .529 attacking percentage.
Airyonna Weaver contributed nine kills and eight digs of her own.

Ashlyn Whiteside led the match on defense with 10 digs while
Hayley Hillman held things down at the net with four total blocks. Reigning SIAC Setter of the Week
Camille McDermott led with 25 assists.

Three Badgers recorded a .450-plus performance on offense; Borgmeyer, Hillman and
Jaylyne Bell.

SHC did not allow more than 12 points in a single set in the 3-0 win over LeMoyne-Owen. The Badgers hit for .442 while holding the Magicians to .132 while leading in every major statistical category.

Brooklyn Hall led the match with 13 kills and hit an outstanding .632.Â
Marissa Peck led with four aces and 11 digs alongside Whiteside on defense.
Kyla Buehner led with a season-high 17 digs.
