Badgers Fall To Bulldogs On The Road

JACKSON, Tenn. – The Spring Hill College women's soccer team (5-6-2, 2-4-2 GSC) fell 3-2 to Union (5-2-2, 4-0-2 GSC) at the Smith Memorial Complex on Friday.
 
The Bulldogs opened scoring in the 12^th minute before Sofia Jimenez Garcia hit the equalizer in the 32^nd minute while being assisted by Poppy Binding. After taking the 1-1 tie into the halftime break, Union surged ahead in the second half with goals in the 46^th and 47^th minutes.
 
Binding tried to get momentum going late with her sixth goal of the season in the 78^th minute. It was not enough, as the Badgers fell 3-2 to the Bulldogs.
 
Spring Hill recorded nine shots and placed three on target. Union rattled off 16 shots with seven of those being on goal.
