MOBILE, Ala. – The Spring Hill College Volleyball team (13-7, 11-0 SIAC) defeated Mississippi College (7-9, 5-3 GSC) in three sets in its final non-conference match of the season at the Arthur R. Outlaw Recreation Center on Tuesday night.

The opening set went back-and-forth and came down to extra points at 29-27. In the second frame, Spring Hill led most of the set, but the Choctaws rallied and tied things up at 21-21 before a 4-0 run sealed the victory for the Badgers. SHC closed out the match with a 25-19 win while never giving up the lead in set three.

Airyonna Weaver led the match with 15 kills, followed by
Brooke Borgmeyer, who added on 10 of her own. Borgmeyer also hit for an impressive .500. Two other Badgers,
Hayley Hillman (.286) and
Jaylyne Bell (.250) also had great nights on offense with .250-plus performances.

Camille McDermott, who was named the SIAC Setter of the Week earlier in the day, led with 26 assists.
Ashlyn Whiteside led the defense with 10 digs, followed by McDermott, who recorded seven.

The win marked the 10
th in a row for SHC against Mississippi College. The Badgers moved to 13-7 overall on the season while the Choctaws fell to 7-9.
