INDIANAPOLIS – The Spring Hill College baseball team was selected as the No. 8 seed in the South Region of the 2023 Division II Baseball Tournament, the NCAA announced Sunday.

The Badgers will travel to Tampa, Fla., to face the top seed host Tampa on Thursday at 7 p.m. (EST). Games will continue through Saturday, with the possibility of a game on Sunday, in the double-elimination format. The South Regional will also feature No. 4 Rollins and No. 5 Valdosta State.

The selection marks the third-straight NCAA postseason appearance for Spring Hill. This is also the third time that SHC will travel to Tampa to begin the tournament.
