LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Spring Hill College softball's Paityn Desormeaux earned a spot on the 2023 National Faspitch Coaches Association (NFCA) All-Region NCAA Division II South Region Second Team, it was announced Wednesday.

The redshirt junior returned to the all-region team in the utility/pitcher spot after a spectacular season, highlighted by going back-to-back as Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SIAC) Relief Pitcher of the Year and a first-team all-conference selection.

This is the second year in a row that Desormeaux has appeared on the all-region team. Last year, the Lafayette La., native was named to the all-south first team.
