MOBILE, Ala. – The Spring Hill College softball team completed a three-game Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SIAC) sweep of Kentucky State with a 15-1 win at Murray Field on Monday.

Spring Hill (19-19, 16-1 SIAC) finished the series sweep of Kentucky State (12-25, 5-12 SIAC) while being led by
Bailey Cox, who went 4-for-3 with three runs and two RBIs in the win.
Alexandra Ballester took her third straight win in three games in the circle.
The Badgers scored all 15 of their runs and held the Thorobreds to just one within the first three innings of play. KSU opened scoring with a sacrifice fly in the first inning to go up 1-0. Spring Hill answered with three runs in the bottom of the first and took a 3-1 lead. The Badgers piled on 12 more runs over the next two innings to capture the 15-1 run-rule victory in five innings.
