PEACHTREE CITY, Ga. – Four members of the Spring Hill College men's tennis team earned Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SIAC) All-Conference honors, the league announced Saturday.

Paul-Philipp Kern was named to the All-Conference singles and doubles team. Kern went off in SIAC play this season, going undefeated (9-0) in conference and 12-6 overall in singles play. The German Native swept eight conference and three non-conference opponents in two sets. He was also named SIAC Men's Tennis Player of the Week on April 5.
Kern's doubles partner,
Tom Gutermann, was named to the doubles All-Conference team alongside him. Kern and Gutermann went undefeated (10-0) in SIAC play this year on the No. 1 court. The duo holds a 17-2 overall record, highlighted by a top-50 win over Flagler's (42) Nikita Tatyanin and Jagger Ong-Patzwald. The pair has racked up 17 consecutive wins since February 14.
Charles Wallace and Sebastian Torres were named to the doubles team as well. Wallace and Torres went 12-2 overall on the No. 2 doubles court and undefeated (8-0) in conference play. The pair has swept five SIAC opponents (6-0) at Round-Ups this year.
The 2023 SIAC Men's Tennis Championship is set to take place April 15-16 at Peachtree Tennis Center in Peachtree City, Ga. More information about the championship tournament can be foundÂ
