TAVARES, Fla – The Spring Hill College Sandy Badgers beach volleyball team fell to Colorado Mesa, 3-2, in pool play and Palm Beach Atlantic, 3-1, in the crossover challenge match during the AVCA Small College Beach Championship at Hickory Point Beach on Saturday.
 
Spring Hill (15-13) suffered a close 3-2 loss to Colorado Mesa in its final match in pool play. In the crossover challenge match, SHC faced Palm Beach Atlantic and fell to the Sailfish 3-1. The Sandy Badgers will begin play in the Division II silver bracket in the morning against Carson-Newman.
