MOBILE, Ala. – The Spring Hill College softball team swept in-state Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SIAC) foe Miles in a doubleheader at Murray Field on Saturday.
Emma Curry pitched 6.1 innings in game one and didn't allow a single hit en route to a 7-1 victory over Miles.
Allison Mangan led the offense with two RBIs and one hit in three at bats.
The Badgers dominated the Golden Bears, 13-3, in game two. SHC scored ten runs in the third inning and ended the game in five innings on a run rule.
Airyonna Weaver led SHC with three runs, two RBIs and two hits in three at bats.
Spring Hill remains a perfect 10-0 in conference play after the doubleheader sweep.
The Badgers honored the 25th anniversary of the softball program with a recognition of the 1998 inaugural team, including a first pitch from former Head Coach Coby Mackin.
