MOBILE, Ala. – The Spring Hill College softball team swept a Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SIAC) doubleheader over in-state foe Tuskegee at Murray Field on Saturday.

The Badgers stayed undefeated in conference play (7-0) and extended their win streak to seven games with the 3-2 and 6-1 wins over the Golden Tigers.
In game one, Tuskegee took a 2-0 lead late in the game before Spring Hill mounted a three-run comeback in the bottom of the seventh inning to take the 3-2 win.
Whitnei Guidry hit the game-winning RBI single to bring
Alexis Yuratich across the plate. Yuratich led the game with two hits, two RBIs and one run in two at bats.
Paityn Desormeaux took the win on the mound, while Kamya Hampton took the loss.
SHC dominated the second game, 6-1, to clinch the SIAC series. The Badgers took an early lead on a two-run home run by
Airyonna Weaver and never looked back. Weaver led the game with four RBIs, two home runs and two hits in three at bats.
Alexandra Ballester earned the win on the bump for Spring Hill, while Caroline Clark suffered the loss for Tuskegee.
